Adult cats 1. 6 to 10lb cat - 1/2 to 3/4 cup dry food or 1/4 to 1/3 cup dry + 3 to 6oz canned 2. 11 to 14lb cat - 3/4 to 1 cup or 1/3 to 1/2 cup dry + 6 to 8oz canned Feeding instructions 1. These amounts are averages and your cat's needs may differ 2. Feeding should be adjusted as necessary to maintain an ideal body condition 3. Feed your cat purina friskies canned in addition to or mixed with purina friskies dry 4. However, since cats enjoy eating small meals throughout the day, keep a bowl of purina friskies dry cat food available at all times 5. Pregnant and nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding Kittens 1. Kittens generally nibble solid foods at three to four weeks of age 2. Keep moistened purina friskies feline favorites available to these kittens at all times 3. After weaning, at six to eight weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will 4. If water is added, use no more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts purina friskies feline favorites, changing frequently to ensure freshness Water 1. Remember that a bowl of fresh water should be available for your cat at all times How to change your cat's diet 1. Over a course of seven to ten days, add a small portion of purina friskies feline favorites dry cat food to your cat's current dry food, and decrease the current food by the same amount 2.
