Referral Cashback Terms

1. Your referral code

Every email address gets its own referral code after its first completed purchase at Tanatasa, whether you shopped as a guest, signed in, or through an AI assistant. The code stays with your email address for future purchases. You'll find it on your order confirmation, in the confirmation email, and on your account page.

2. Using a friend's code

Enter a friend's code in the coupon box in your cart, or ask your AI assistant to use it as your coupon code at checkout. A referral code doesn't change the price: instead, once your payment is confirmed, you and the friend whose code you used each earn cashback credit worth 5% of your purchase. A referral code can be used together with a coupon.

The purchase value is the amount you pay by card, after discounts and any credit you spend, excluding delivery. Cashback is rounded down to the cent and is at most S$25.00 for each person per order.

3. When cashback doesn't apply

• Your own code: using your own code, including through another address of yours, earns nothing.
• Each code earns cashback on up to 20 referred orders in any 30 days.
• Some referrals are checked before cashback is released, for example when the buyer and the code's owner share a phone number or address.
• If an order is refunded or cancelled, the cashback it earned is taken back.
• We may suspend a code, or withhold or remove cashback, where we see misuse.

4. When you can use your credit

Cashback is pending for 14 days after payment, covering our return window, and then becomes available. Each amount of credit expires 6 months after the date it was earned (the payment date); the soonest-expiring credit is used first. Your account page shows each amount and its expiry date, and we email you about two weeks before any credit expires.

5. Spending credit

Credit is used automatically at checkout when you're signed in with the email it belongs to, on an order to that email. You can choose not to use it. Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email; your AI assistant can ask Tanatasa to send you one, and needs you to tell it the code. At least S$0.50 of each order is paid by card.

If an order paid partly with credit is refunded, the credit is returned to you. Credit that had already expired comes back valid for 30 days.

6. What credit is not

Cashback credit has no cash value: it can't be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another person or email address. It can only be used at tanatasa.sg.

7. AI assistants

Meta Muse, OpenAI Dots, Claude Duet, Instinct and other assistants named in our promotion are products of their own companies and are not partners of Tanatasa. Any assistant that can use our shopping tools can apply a referral code and, once you've signed it in, your credit.

8. Changes and questions
